What are "office Hours"?
"Office hours" is the time that a teacher sets aside to provide extra help to students outside of regular class times. During office hours students are able to ask questions and receive one-on-one attention from the teacher in a quieter setting. When are Ms. Kea's Office hours? Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:45 - 10:15 AM (during your break) After School Every Tuesday from 1:15 - 2:30 (students staying after school must have a ride home promptly at 2:30 pm.) Grades |
Student grades are a direct reflection of the amount of effort each student puts into his or her own learning. completing assignments, receiving passing scores on Assessments and participating in class will result in a passing grade in math class. Students are responsible for their own success in math class.
What assignments make up my grade? students are graded in three areas:
Can I make- up or retake a quiz or exam? Yes! If you are absent on a quiz or exam day, You can make up an exam or quiz during weekly office hours. you may also re-take an exam if you have received a score of 70% or lower on the original exam. Retakes also happen during office hours. |
